I recently took a tour of the
James J. Hill House. The house was completed for
Mr. Hill, who was the chief executive officer of the Great Northern Railway, in 1891. At more than 36,000 square feet, it is the largest mansion on Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. I visited to take the Gas Light Tour, a rare offering in which visitors can view the home in the evening.

Impressive, the architecture is impressive. I need to visit the house.
ReplyDeleteDoh, missed this comment! It was an incredible experience! I am going to go back sometime this summer when they have a special tour that takes visitors into rooms that the normal tours don't have access to. I'll let you know about it when I know more :)
